■ ၂၀၂၀ ပြည့်နှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီလကနေ ဇွန်လအတွင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ပြည်တွင်းစစ်ကြောင့် ကလေး ၄၃ ယောက်သေဆုံးခဲ့ရပြီး၊ ၁၀၃ ယောက် ကိုယ်လက်အင်္ဂါ ချို့ယွင်းခဲ့ရတယ်လို့ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ ကလေးများရန်ပုံငွေအဖွဲ့ (UNICEF) က ပြောလိုက်ပါတယ်။

ဒီပမာဏဟာ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ၂၀၁၈ ၊ ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်တွေနဲ့ နှိုင်းယှဉ်ရင် ကလေးတွေသေဆုံး၊ ထိခိုက်ဒဏ်ရာရနှုန်းတွေ ကြောက်ခမန်းလိလိ တိုးလာနေတာကြောင့် အလွန်စိုးရိမ်တယ်လို့လည်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ UNICEF အဖွဲ့ရဲ့ ဒီကနေ့ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်မှာ ဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။

၂၀၂၀ပြည့်နှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီလကနေ စက်တင်ဘာလအတွင်း မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းနဲ့ စစ်လက်နက်ပစ္စည်း ပေါက်ကွဲမှုကြောင့် သေဆုံးရတဲ့ ကလေး ၁၃ ယောက် ရှိခဲ့ပြီး ကလေး ၅၆ ဦး အပြင်းအထန် ဒဏ်ရာရရှိခဲ့တယ်လို့ ဆိုပါတယ်။

တပ်မတော်နဲ့ ရခိုင့်တပ်တော် AA တို့ တိုက်ပွဲတွေဖြစ်နေတဲ့ ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်မှာ စစ်ကြောင့် ကလေးတွေသေဆုံး၊ ဒဏ်ရာရမှု အများဆုံးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၁၈ ရက်နေ့ကလည်း ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်၊ မောင်တော်မြို့မယ်မှာ မြေမြုပ်မိုင်းပေါက်ကွဲလို့ ကလေးငယ်တဦးနဲ့ မိဘနှစ်ဦး နေရာမှာတင် ပွဲချင်းပြီးသေဆုံးခဲ့ပြီး၊ ကလေးနှစ်ဦးအပါအဝင် လေးဦး ဒဏ်ရာ အပြင်းအထန်ရသွားလို့ စစ်တွေဆေးရုံမှာ ဆေးကုသနေရပါတယ်။

ကလေးငယ်တွေ ဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံရေးအတွက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင်းမှာ ဖြစ်ပွားနေတဲ့ စစ်ပဋိပက္ခတွေအတွင်း ပါဝင်တဲ့ အဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေ အနေနဲ့  မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်း အသုံးပြုတာ ရပ်တန့်ပေးဖို့နဲ့  လက်ရှိကျန်နေတဲ့ မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းတွေ၊ မပေါက်ကွဲသေးတဲ့ စစ်လက်နက်ပစ္စည်းတွေကို ရှင်းလင်းပေးကြဖို့လည်း UNICEF အဖွဲ့က ဒီကနေ့ ထပ်မံတောင်းဆိုလိုက်ပါတယ်။

Civil war kills more than 40 children in six months  More than 100 injured

 Between January and June 2020, 43 children died in Burma's civil war.  The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) says 103 people have been disabled.

 This is the same amount as in 2018.  Compared to 2019, children are dying.  UNICEF said in a statement today that it was "deeply concerned" by the alarming rise in casualties.

 Between January and September 2020, 13 children were killed and 56 were seriously injured in landmine explosions.

 Fighting between the Tatmadaw and the Arakan Army (AA) has killed and maimed children in Rakhine State.  Most injuries.

 On November 18 last year,  A child and two parents were killed in a landmine explosion in Maungdaw.  Four people, including two children, were seriously injured and are being treated at Sittwe Hospital.

 For the safety of children, organizations involved in the conflict in Burma need to stop using landmines and remove existing landmines.  UNICEF also today called for the clearance of unexploded ordnance.
